I'm the editor of Explore magazine, as well as a contributing editor for British Columbia Magazine and a contributor to Canadian Traveller Magazine. I'm always in search of a unique story angle—in recent years I have backcountry skied in Nunavik, climbed the highest peak in Southeast Asia, spotted Alaskan brown bears up-close and trekked beyond the Arctic Circle (five times). Awards? Well, In the past two years alone I've racked up Bronze and Silver at the International Regional Magazine Awards, three Honourable Mentions at the National Magazine Awards and I was a Finalist in the 2015 Explore Canada Awards of Excellence, again in 2017 and in 2018 too!
