Born and raised in Quebec and Nova Scotia where summers meant camping, Pam moved to BC years ago to be near the mountains. She and her husband call Vancouver home. A freelance writer who keeps her camera close by, Pam escaped the corporate world and seeks out outdoor adventure, new or old, at every opportunity. Trekking in the Himalayas, snowshoeing the Yukon, sea-kayaking along Canada’s coasts or skiing at the cottage; it’s the connection to the earth that resonates with Pam. If it involves food, family, friends and laughing, even better. She and her husband enjoy volunteering as ski instructors with VASS (Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports). Pam is a member of the both the Acadia University and Nova Scotia Sports Heritage Halls of Fame.
